🤗 Sandali's Story 🤗

This is my favorite picture of mine in childhood. I'm cute there , ain't i ? Some people said I was like a boy in this. Does it look like that ?

I'm Sandali Gajanayake. I was born on 12th of September. Now, I 'm 21 years old. I'm from Panadura. I went ST. John’s Girls' School Panadura. I did O/l and A/l in this school. I got 5A's, 2B's and 2B's for my O/l examination. I did arts for my advanced studies and I got 1A and 2B's for it. Now, I'm an undergraduate at University of the Visual and Performing Arts as a first year student.

This is my first day in school (2006/01/17)

When I was a kid , I'm very naughty. I'm very poor to learn. Everyone have a dream for the future when they are young. But, I didn't have one. I always want to play with my neighbors. Before study music, I was very shy person. Coincidently, I have an opportunity to learn Music as my sister's guard 🤓. Since then, I had an ambition. I wanted to make my ambition around the music. Now, my whole life is music. I did various things with music. When I was thirteen, I sang my first song in front of a large audience. Since then, I really wanted to be a singer. I participated various tv shows in 2015 to 2016. Such as, "Geetharu Mal " , "Kurullanta Gee", "Pata pata " as a singer and a player.

I attended to singing competitions. First one is " Dewthilina Singing Competition ". I got second place in that competition. In 2021, I had big opportunity to participate " Derana Dream Star season 10". I was selected in the final 17 and I was out in as 17 one. It was the best experience I had in my life.

I have a lot of friends. My A/L class friends are very important for me. I know them since grade 1. But we were put together in A/L class. There are seven members including me. We collected a lot of memories. Therefore, I want go back to school. There are my crazy nuts. I love them very much.

I'm flexible and very kind person. I always try to give my 💯. I'm over thinker in some situations. This is my big weakness. But , I always try to avoid it. I have some good memories, bad ones. These all are good lessons for me to face well into the future.

I have some hobbies. I love to read novels and play instruments in my leisure time. My favorite instruments are Guitar and Mandolin. I still learning play thabla & violin for my degree.

Another hobby is watch K- Dramas. Ohhh I'm addicted to it. But, I know my limit. First place for study. I can improve my English knowledge through watching K- Dramas with English subtitles.

My ambition is to be a musician and a lecturer. I want to complete my degree at the top. I try to reach my ambitions. This is my life story in briefly. Thank you.
